I am a MOM first of two beautiful little ladies, Davianna who is 12 years of age and Ellionah who is 15 years of age. I am also an Author, and I am happy to share my book “Behind Prison Walls” was just recently published last year on Amazon. I am the CEO of 4Real Entertainment / CEO/Founder of "KCS" (Keeping Communities Safe) Youth Mentoring Program and owner of Davelli Hair spa. I served as the Senior Business Manager/Marketing Manager for Prestige Entertainment, currently known as Victory2MultiMedia, where she prepared/implemented marketing plans and secured funds from the public sectors in collaboration with the President/CEO. At Prestige, I have established influential contacts with whom she maintains a strong relationship, such as Megga 97.9, HBO, El Diario, Coca-Cola, Madison Square Garden, MTV and numerous celebrities in the Rhythm and Blues, Latino and Pop Industry. I have not only started 4Real Entertainment in 1999, but also maintained a full-time position at IBM Corporation as a Senior Executive Assistant in Global Financing and the HR Strategy division managing calendars for high-level executives. I have always had diverse interests in communications/marketing, public speaking, and music, displaying my talents through writing numerous original R&B songs, and poetry, dancing in The Kiss FM Master Mix Show and coming in as fourth runner-up in the 2001 Miss New York State Pageant. I have also appeared in a Braid hair magazine in 1999. During my free time, I genuinely enjoy motivational speaking/teaching and mentoring, which led to the creation of "KCS"(Keeping Communities Safe) Youth Mentoring Program. Through the program of which I am the CEO/Founder. I speak with the youth in the community on critical issues such as gang prevention, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, hygiene, self-esteem, respecting authority, incarceration, insecurity, envy and much more. I have an Associates of Arts in Business, Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Management, and an MBA from The University of Phoenix. I am currently enrolled in a Doctoral Program in Health Administration. Certified in suicide prevention, Early Intervention and worked as a Drug Safety Specialist for clients with Multiple Sclerosis. Experienced as a Residency Coordinator at Westchester Medical Center in the Anesthesia Department and worked in the OR/ Preoperative division. Youth Counselor/Advocate and Domestic Violence Advocate/Counselor. I have worked with the homeless and HIV population. I have also done paralegal work in Personal Injury Criminal Law, Immigration Law, and Real Estate. Davida Gilchrest is a faithful member of Greater Centennial A.M.E. Zion Church, a Board Member of the Martin Luther King Institute, a member of the fundraising committee, my trials have made me stronger and wiser, ready to tackle life's obstacles head-on. She epitomizes "A True Proverbs 31 Woman.
