FOR THE LOVE OF SENIORS
Family caregivers play an important role in the long-term services and supports system. Our seniors need the support from them! Supporting and caring for a loved one is a responsibility so may people take on without hesitation. However, family caregivers often face financial, physical, and emotional burdens that have an impact on their families, social lives, and careers.
Here is where "KCS" For the love of seniors program come in! We offer Respite care services that will offer temporary support, community engagement and events for care recipients in order to provide a brief period of relief for our caregivers.
Respite services include:
"KCS" Out-of-Home Respite: A respite service provided in settings other than the caregiver/care receiver’s home, including adult day care, senior center to play bingo, read current events, assist with food shopping, senior spa days, summer camps and more! This will allow the caregiver time away to do other activities.
"KCS" respite services assist caregivers in helping their family members to remain at home for as long as possible and delay or prevent them for going into a nursing home.
