Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waiver Services
Community Habilitation Services/ Respite Services
Servicing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
One of our main goals is to ensure that every Medicare beneficiary receives their services in the privacy of their home or at our community advocacy agency rather than institutions or other isolated settings.
Our programs serve populations groups such as people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. KCS HCBS Waiver is a strength-based program that serves youth ages 9–21 years with serious emotional difficulties, developmental disabilities (if in foster care), and medical fragility.
KCS staff will meet with the family/youth in their home and other locations chosen by the family.
Our Services
KCS HCBS program is accessed through a youth’s Care Manager. If the Care Manager and the family believe the youth would benefit from and would be eligible for these services, the Care Manager could make a referral to our program.
These programs provide many day programming and employment options for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
